The UML Days of Giving event has become a source of pride for the entire university community. The annual April fundraising and school spirit blitz challenges faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni and friends to empower student success through philanthropic support.

This year, the event will take place April 13 and 14, with a flurry of online engagement and on-campus experiences.

“The Days of Giving event has become a tradition for our community to come together, in a public way, to celebrate the university and give back to what we are passionate about at UMass Lowell,” says Mike DeGuglielmo, director of Annual Giving.

In 2021, its fourth year, UML Days of Giving raised $555,866 — a record-high total.

“Now, we are calling on the university community to go beyond last year and show our UML pride to honor Chancellor Jacquie Moloney in her final year as chancellor,” DeGuglielmo says.

Focus areas for fundraising include the Moloney Student Fellowship Fund, scholarships, food and housing insecurity, and assistance for first-generation students and River Hawk student athletes. Supporters can also choose to make a gift to any academic department, program or area of interest that they want to help.
