Judy Woodruff, Keith Lockhart to Speak at UMass Lowell Commencement

UMass Lowell announced Monday that journalist Judy Woodruff, co-anchor of “PBS NewsHour,” and Pops conductor Keith Lockhart will both address grads at commencement ceremonies May 14. Additionally, Oscar winner Chris Cooper and his wife, author/actress Marianne Leone Cooper, will receive honorary degrees. MIT previously announced that “Martian” actor Matt Damon will be its commencement speaker June 3, and Harvard has signed Steven Spielberg to say farewell to seniors May 26.
