Sign Up for myAlert to Receive University Emergency Notices
Emergency alerts to students, faculty and staff are now being delivered through a more reliable, user-friendly notification system. If you signed up for the old alert system to receive messages via voice, text or email, you have been automatically transferred to the new system.
Please visit www.uml.edu/myAlert to verify existing contact information, manage your account and choose how you receive messages. Simply log on with your UMass Lowell email account and password.
The University will use myAlert to let you know about urgent, timely notices such as weather delays or closures and health, environmental or criminal threats on campus.
- You decide how you receive notifications, including voice mail, email and/or text messages.
- The user-friendly myAlert web page allows you to keep your contact numbers up to date.
- All information will be kept private and used solely for this emergency notification system.
UMass Lowell has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to provide myAlert
“This is a better product with more functionality and reliability than our previous system,” says Rich Lemoine, director of Environmental and Emergency Management for the campus. “Our test of the system recently allowed us to get a message out to 17,000 contacts within nine seconds.”
