Charles F Feeney is a professor of Accounting in the College of Management. He teaches federal income taxes, financial accounting and managerial accounting. His research interests include accounting practice management, diversity in the accounting profession and financial management in the non-profit area. Professor Feeney has served as accounting department chairman for nine years. He has written articles that have appeared in various journals including the Journal of Small Business Management, the Massachusetts CPA Review, The Michigan CPA Journal and the (NY) CPA Journal. He has consulted to small business and non-profits, served as treasurer of a 501 charity and served on a Massachusetts charter school board. Prior to joining the university, he held an audit position with one of the big four CPA firms.
