Biosketch

Lawrence Lapide has experience in industry, consulting, research, and academia. He worked at MIT’s Center for Transportation & Logistics, AMR Research/Gartner, Accenture, and the University of Massachusetts. He was a frequent presenter at supply chain events and has written numerous publications, including co-authorship of a book, “e-Business: The Strategic Impact on Supply Chain and Logistics” (2001). Lawrence is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement in Business Forecasting & Planning Award bestowed by the Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning in 2012. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Wharton School.
