Master of Arts in Security Studies: International Security

A Master's in Security Studies: International Security student will develop a comprehensive understanding of complex, intersecting global threats like organized criminal and terrorist networks, and the various policies, strategies and mechanisms to combat these threats. The Master of Arts degree can be earned on campus, online or as a hybrid of the two. The UMass Lowell Center for Terrorism and Security Studies offers research opportunities and our students and graduates work in a variety of security professions. Local and regional internships are also available.
