UMass Lowell is in the process of upgrading our email platform from Microsoft’s Exchange 2010 to Microsoft Exchange 2016. As a first step, the logon process for Exchange will look different shortly. Details are below, but as always – if you have any questions, please contact the IT Service Desk at 978-934-4357.
The experience will be similar to Office 365.
If you are on campus and on a compatible web browser “currently chrome and IE” and logged into your computer using your Faculty\Staff email you will be automatically logged into Exchange.
If you are off campus or using a non-compatible browser you will be presented with the SSO webpage login screen.
Once logged into exchange the look and function will remain the same until we have moved your mailbox to the new servers.
