As a Senior Information Security Engineer, Ken is responsible for Cyber Information Security Program initiatives and associated technology such as firewalls, intrusion prevention system, security event management, data loss prevention, and vulnerability assessments. Ken also supports campus-wide incident response, risk management, and compliance support.
Ken earned his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science in 1989 from then University of Lowell and is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Information Technology. He holds a certification as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA along with a strong skill set in system integration, platform security and linux administration. He has been with the University since 1999, formerly working in the Computer Science Department.
