Emily started her career in the field of international education in 2012 as a student worker, while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Peace & Conflict Studies from UMass Lowell. After landing a full-time position at ISSO in the fall of 2015, Emily became quickly involved within the NAFSA and UMass Lowell community. In her current role, Emily advises F-1 and J-1 students on pre and post-arrival logistics, maintenance of lawful status, and non-immigrant employment benefits. In addition to international student advising, Emily serves as a leader for technical business processes, SUNAPSIS and SEVIS management and customer service operations at ISSO. Emily is passionate about utilizing technology to maximize efficiency and overall services provided to international students. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and rescue dog.
