For Students Who Already Have a Limited Access PIN:
New international students will receive an email from: email@example.com with the subject line "UMass Lowell F-1 or J-1 Sponsorship" upon acceptance to UMass Lowell. This email will contain your Limited Access PIN written under Step 2 in brown text.
If you did not receive this email or do not have your Limited Access PIN, please see the next section of this page titled "How to Request a Limited Access PIN".
Step 1: Go to the UMassVIP Services Login Page
Step 2: Click on "New Student/Scholar Login."
Step 3: Enter your University ID number, Date of Birth, and PIN and then click "Login".
Step 4: Click on the "Admission" tab on the left navigation bar, and then click on the "Visa Document Request" link.
Step 5: Click on "Start a New Request"
Step 6: Begin with the Bio and Financial Info e-form. If you will be accompanied by a dependent and/or transferring your SEVIS record, complete the following two e-forms. To submit your completed visa document request to ISSO, please be sure to complete the "Submission Confirmation/Verification" e-form.
Please note: This section is only for students who did NOT already receive a Limited Access PIN via email from the ISSO.
Step 2: Click on "New Student/Scholar Login"
Step 3: Click on "Email me my Limited Access PIN"
Step 4: Enter UMass Lowell Student ID number and click "submit"
Step 5: You should have received an email from: firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "Limited Services PIN". The Limited Services Access PIN will be found in the body of the email.
Step 6: You may then follow Steps 1-8 in the section above titled "For Students Who Already Have a Limited Access PIN" to request your initial UMass Lowell Visa Document.
