UMass Lowell will resume on-campus instruction, research and campus life for Fall 2020. View the plan for more info.
International Students must submit “original” financial documentation as listed below to the International Students and Scholars Office prior to the issuance of a student visa document (Form I-20 or Form DS-2019). All International Graduate Students are required to take 9 credits per semester to maintain valid status.
You are required to present financial documentation for one year as per the UMass Lowell International Student Estimate of Expenses in order to be issued a Form I-20 or Form DS-2019. However, you are legally responsible for all educational related costs for the entirety of your education at UMass Lowell.
*There are slight increases to the Estimate of Expenses which go into effect each spring semester. The ISSO requires financial documentation as per the current Estimate of Expenses at the time the Form I-20 or Form DS-2019 visa document is issued
