Islam Explained (2012)
An informal, interactive course that offers a comprehensive study on Islam, covering articles of faith, worship, purpose of creation & economics. Offered by Prof. M. Riaz Khan, Professor & Chair of the Operations & Information Systems.

Bailes Latinos, Salsa Dancing (2011, 2012)
Come learn to dance the salsa and merengue! Both dances will be taught by UMass Lowell students in the Spanish language program. Information about each dance will be presented in Spanish with a simultaneous translation in English, each dance will be demonstrated, and then dance instruction will begin. Latin music and costumes will lend ambiance to the affair. Presenter: Department of Cultural Studies.
