The Department of Homeland Security created the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Portal as a tool to allow students on OPT to report their updates. 

Students will gain access to the SEVP portal on the start date listed on the EAD. SEVP will email students the instructions on how to create an account, and report employment information to the SEVP portal.

PLEASE NOTE: ISSO REQUIRES that students on OPT use the OPT Reporting e-form to report all OPT changes and updates. If you choose to setup an account in the SEVP Portal, you must also update your address and OPT employer information in the OPT Reporting e-form.
