An Honors Seminar is a 3000/4000-level 3-credit discussion-based honors course that has no discipline-based prerequisites. Honors seminars are accessible to all majors and typically have a reading component and a writing component. When logistically possible, they include a speaking component. Enrollment in seminars is between 15 to 25 students.
Honors College students must take at least one honors seminar to satisfy their H6 requirement and may take additional honors seminars to satisfy their H3, H4, H5, and/or H7 Honors Course Requirements.
As with all other honors courses, honors seminars have a 301, 302, 303, etc. section number.
