Honors students have three types of honors advisers: Honors College Advisers, Department Honors Advisers, and an Honors Project/Thesis Tracking and Encouragement Adviser.
Honors College Advisers keep track of honors files and they communicate directly with honors students. Honors College Advisers are responsible for assigning an Honors Status to each of their Honors Advisees. An honors student can learn their honors status from their honors college adviser.
Department Honors Advisers can be a great local source of information about “all things honors.”
Honors Project/Thesis Tracking and Encouragement Adviser is an additional adviser for those honors students who have earned 84 or more college credits. This adviser provides logistical and procedural support for those students who have passed in their Honors Mentor Form. All honors students who have earned 84 or more credits must pass in their Honors Mentor Form.
Regardless of major, the Honors College Adviser for all Honors Transfer Students is Erin Maitland.
For all Honors Students who entered UMass Lowell directly from the high school, the Honors College Adviser is given in the tables below.
