Sandra Guy-VanAmburgh has 26 years of industry experience as Director of HIM and is an avid member of AHIMA, MaHIMA, NHHIMA, NEHIMSS, HIMSS, AAPC, and the HFMA. She has a great passion for health information technology and principles of management in the health care-related fields. She has taught in this discipline for a decade and has developed a variety of accredited health information management programs for educational institutions throughout New England. Sandra is currently serving as the Graduate Coordinator for the Health Informatics and Management program at UMass Lowell and teaches a variety of courses in the program. Sandra also serves as the Undergraduate Transfer Coordinator for the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences Department of Public Health.
