Professor Patch is an ANCC board certified as an adult and child/adolescent psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist. As an advanced practice psychiatric nurse, she has worked with both populations for thirteen years, providing psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic intervention. Professor Patch has provided psychotropic medication management and individual, group and family therapy in private practice and in a therapeutic boarding school practice setting. She has provided family therapy in family homes and with adolescent patients in a psychiatric hospital setting. Professor Patch has also been a registered nurse since 1992.
