Joanne Yestramski has a long and accomplished career in financial management, administration and information technology services. She has spent nearly two decades working in the field of higher education, at both public and private institutions in New England. As Senior Vice Chancellor for Finance, Operations, and Strategic Planning at UMass Lowell, she is also a member of the Chancellor’s Executive Cabinet.
Prior to her appointment at UMass Lowell, Yestramski was employed as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the University of Maine System. She also served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Bentley College and in similar capacities at the Providence Journal, Museum of Science in Boston, BioTechnica International and KPMG Peat Marwick.
Yestramski has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University and is a certified public accountant. She serves on the Board of Directors at Jeanne D’arc Credit Union, Merrimack Repertory Theatre and the Board of Directors of the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers (EACUBO). She received the NACUBO Distinguished Business Officer Award in July 2016.
