The Facilities Planning staff work closely with representatives from various departments to help translate enrollment projections into models and forecasts of campus housing demand and identify strategies and projects to address the anticipated demand. This effort is a key component of the University’s successful ongoing transition from a commuter school to a residential campus (as designated by the Carnegie Foundation) and supports the 2020 Plan Strategic Priority of Enhancing the Student Experience as a “University of Choice” with a “vibrant campus and community experience.”
