Gregory Mahan is usually found behind a mixing console or the viewfinder of a camera. His work in the audio field includes work with artists such as daisybones and Nicholas Patrick Quigley, with much of his specialization focusing on recordings for multichannel delivery systems. He also works in the field of podcast production, serving as a producer and engineer for the weekly podcast "Hardly Tea."
Gregory's video work includes "We've Got the World on a String," a documentary examining the impact that music education has in the lives of K - 12 students. The film premiered at The Luna Theater in downtown Lowell in April of 2017. He has additionally worked on music videos for local artists such as Lowell's own Birdsong at Morning. 
His love for media as well as arts education has led to him staying on at the UMass Lowell String Project after his graduation from the Sound Recording Technology program. He leads the creative direction of the String Project, and produces high-quality video and audio recordings for digital distribution.
