Biosketch

Scott M. Walfield graduated from the UMass Lowell in 2016 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. His primary research interests include crime clearance, quantitative methods, rape/sexual assault, and sex offender management and policy. He was the winner of the 2015 Association of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) Michael C. Braswell/Anderson Publishling Outstanding Student Paper Award. His work has appeared in journals such as Sexual Abuse: A Journal of Research and Treatment, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, and the American Journal of Criminal Justice.
