Alyson M. Traficante Doctoral Student, Doctoral Teaching Fellow


Alyson was accepted into UMass Lowell’s Criminology and Justice Studies Ph.D. program in 2013. She was awarded a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology with a second major of Criminal Justice in 2013. Alyson previously served as a Medical Advocate with the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center.
Alyson’s research interests focus on violence against women, more specifically, sexual assault, how the criminal justice system responds to the needs of rape survivors, and sexual assault revictimization.
