Biosketch

Richard Burrows has been teaching at UMass Lowell since 2012. He is currently employed as the Chief of Police in Acton Massachusetts and is in his 32nd year of law enforcement. He worked for Tyngsborough Police for 27 years before transferring to Acton in January of 2013. 
Richard has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of Lowell and has a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from UMass Lowell. He is certified by Microsoft and was the Director of I.T. for the Town of Tyngsborough for over 12 years.
