Biosketch

Kathleen Redman received a B.A. from Williams College in art history and practice, and an M.A. from Tufts University in the history of art. She was the exhibitions director at the New Art Center in Newton from 2010-2015. She has been a lecturer in the history of art around the Boston area since 2009. Prior to 2009 she worked at the Tufts University Art Gallery in Medford, MA and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She also independently mounted several exhibitions around New York and Boston and she continues to work on independent curatorial projects. She brings a passion for teaching and a love of art and architecture, and the artists, architects and the designers who make it, to her classes at UMass Lowell.
