Jennifer Wood is an artist, educator, and entrepreneur. Her work is painting/mixed media and photography. It is influenced by nature, decay, and renewal. Content may allude to ocean, the environment, and human psychology. Often the work reflects her desire to interpret time and memory as tangible imagery. It is also rooted in a life-long concern to protect the ocean and the natural world. Additionally, the concepts of wabi-sabi and intimate immensity influence her work.

Jennifer’s work has been exhibited frequently, at exhibitions in galleries and museums in Brooklyn NY, Los Angeles CA, New Britain CT, and Boston, Cambridge, and Provincetown, MA. It has been included in numerous shows curated or juried by noted museum curators, gallerists, and artists. It is included in private and corporate collections throughout New England and in Chicago.

In recent years Jennifer was awarded residencies at the C-Scape dune shack in Provincetown, MA, and the Plumbing Museum in Watertown, MA.
