Tsongas Center

The Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell is a multi-use indoor sports, entertainment and convention venue located off Father Morissette Boulevard near downtown Lowell. The Tsongas Center is home to the UMass Lowell River Hawks Hockey Team.

The venue also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as:

  • Concerts like the Kiss 108 FM Jingle Ball, Dropkick Murphys, Comedian Jeff Dunham, Bob Dylan, Country star Eric Church and many more!
  • Family shows like Disney Live! Phineas and Ferb, Barney Live and the Harlem Globetrotters
  • MIAA Championships in hockey, basketball and wrestling
  • Regional and National cheer and dance competitions
  • World Wrestling Entertainment
  • Various college and high school graduations

Meeting, Function and Party Space

  • 17,000-square-foot arena floor
  • Over 10,000-square-foot of meeting and party space, including
    • 3,392-square-foot Lowell Bank Pavilion
    • 1,905-square-foot Talon Club
    • 5,080-square-foot lobby
  • Lowell Bank Pavilion and Talon Club areas both include private bars
  • Lawn area along the Merrimack River is 100,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate various outdoor events from receptions to concerts
