Biosketch
Justin is a proud River Hawk who graduated with an M.B.A. from UMass Lowell in 2009. He also graduated from Fitchburg State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a B.S. in Business Administration in 2007. Justin served as the Director of Operations for UMass Lowell Hospitality & Event Services from 2021 - 2023 and was previously the Associate Director of Campus Recreation at UML where he worked in various roles between 2006 - 2021. Justin has extensive experience managing fitness and wellness programs, competitive sports, instructional programs, summer camps, facility operations and maintenance, risk management, and marketing.
Justin is passionate about helping UMass Lowell students and our university community develop healthy habits that they can continue throughout their adult lives. He prides himself on offering clean, accessible, and safe recreational facilities, programs, and services that help to create memorable experiences, develop lasting friendships and find spaces of belonging for all students.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys traveling across the world, hiking and trail running in the White Mountains, resistance training, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife Devonne, daughter Callie, and three cats in Wilmington, Mass.
