Future Engineers Summer Camp Online Application

July 12-17, 2020

Have you ever wondered how autonomous vehicles navigate traffic? How a plastic water bottle can be transformed into a fidget spinner? Or how power is harnessed from the sun, wind, and water? Students will learn about the many different forms of engineering, from the internet of things, to sustainability, to infrastructure. Potential camp projects include:

  • Building a "smart" lockbox.
  • Create a re-usable water filter for household use.
  • Design and build a more efficient battery.
  • Build a low-cost biosensor using origami.
  • Design a "smart" bridge.
  • Build an acoustic sensor for monitoring infrastructure.
