The Francis College of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is excited to host two, overnight, week-long summer camps for high school students in July 2020.

Future Engineers Summer Camp Online Application
Have you ever wondered how autonomous vehicles navigate traffic? How a plastic water bottle can be transformed into a fidget spinner? Or how power is harnessed from the sun, wind, and water? Students will learn about the many different forms of engineering, from the internet of things, to sustainability, to infrastructure. Potential camp projects include:
Students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the Fall of 2020 are eligible to apply. Interested students must submit the following to complete their application package:
The cost of the one-week camp is $1,500. This includes all materials, room, and meals for the week (Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon). Limited scholarships (full and partial) are available by application. Limited space is available. Registration and applications will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. A non-refundable $100 application fee applies.
There is a 10% Early Bird discount if registered by April 1, 2020.
Discounts are also available for UMass Lowell employees and for sibling registrations.
