The opportunity to gain teaching and research skills is open to doctoral candidates who are chosen to become Teaching Assistants and Research Assistants. TA and RA positions are open to full-time students who are required to work for a minimum of 18 hours/week for which they receive a stipend and their tuition and fees for 9 credits/semester. The expectation is that TAs will become RAs funded from faculty research grants. Information about eligibility and stipends can be found at financial Information.
