Commencement 2018 will take place at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell on Saturday, May 19, and will be broken into a morning and afternoon ceremony.
The morning ceremony will be for degree candidates from:
- the Francis College of Engineering
- the Kennedy College of Sciences
- the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences
- Intercampus Programs.
The afternoon ceremony will be for degree candidates from:
- the Manning School of Business,
- the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
- the College of Education.

Undergraduates who were unable to attend the Cap & Gown Countdown in April will be able to pick up your cap and gown at the University Crossing Bookstore until May 17, 2018 or can have their regalia shipped to them.
- Commencement Eve Celebration
Commencement Eve is one of the most highly anticipated annual events at UMass Lowell. It is when the entire university community — students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and community members — comes together to celebrate the important achievements of the year. Honorary degree recipients, speakers, distinguished alumni and talented students are honored during this elegant event. Tickets are $125; $100 for young alumni (graduates of 2007-2017).
- Commencement 2018
Commencement 2018 will take place at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell on Saturday, May 19, and will be broken into two ceremonies. The morning ceremony, which begins at 9 a.m., will be for the Francis College of Engineering; the Kennedy College of Sciences; the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences; and Intercampus Programs. The afternoon ceremony, which begins at 2:30 p.m., will be for: the Manning School of Business; the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; and the College of Education. Both ceremonies run between two and three hours.

Join us for a celebratory brunch between UMass Lowell's morning and afternoon Commencement ceremonies. Full brunch menu is available for adults for $32 and children under 12 for $15.95, plus tax, gratuity and alcohol. Choose from five different seating times. Parking at the ICC is free and regular shuttles will be running between the brunch and Tsongas Center, where Commencement will be held.
