Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We are excited to announce the plans for the 2024 commencement ceremony on May 11, 2024. There will be a formal Commencement exercises, including speeches and the official conferral of degrees, streamed on our website and Facebook.

For spring 2024 graduating students, verify that your name and address is accurate for diploma distribution.
Pre-register for your graduation ceremony photo with GradImages at the Cap & Gown Countdown or online at their website to get 20% off any orders over $50. Please note that there is no obligation to purchase.
Unable to attend the Cap & Gown Countdown on Monday, April 8, 2024 to pick up your academic regalia (cap, gown, hood) and commencement name card? Here are your alternative pick-up options:
- Between April 9 and May 9, 2024, at UML Bookstore on 220 Pawtucket St., Lowell, during normal business hours.
- On Commencement Day, May 11, 2024 at the Tsongas Center:
- Regalia (cap, gown, hood) at the Bookstore’s tent
- Commencement name card at the Registrar's tent
- Reserve your guest tickets by April 19, 2024, and be sure to select your corresponding ceremony, either morning or afternoon. Once ordered, you can locate your guest tickets by searching for emails from spectratickets-tsongas@paciolan.com or spectra-tickets@paciolan.com with instructions on how to download or print the tickets. Please check your inbox and spam folder too. If you still experience technical difficulties, email the Tsongas Center Ticket Office: TsongasCenter.ticketoffice@spectraxp.com.
- Send a message of thanks or congratulations by noon on May 1, 2024.
- Create your Commencement Slide by May 3, 2024.
- Show up to your commencement ceremony at least 45 minutes before the start of your ceremony with your commencement name card and academic regalia in hand.
