Sociology Minor

Minor

The minor in Sociology is intended to introduce students to the field of sociology, including social behavior and structures, social problems and inequalities, and social change. Students can take a range of electives based on their areas of interest. Some examples include classes about gender and race inequalities, immigrant communities, the social inclusion of people with disabilities, and families and youth. This minor complements many majors, as it provides students with the ability to better understand the relationship between people and society.

The minor in Sociology consists of 18 credits.
