Full Moon and Evening Paddle Tours

Our moonlight and new moon evening tours are guided tours of the Merrimack River using the light of the full moon and stars. As the temperature begins to cool and world quiets, paddling by moonlight or under only stars offers a special experience that you will remember forever. The Stargaze Paddles are timed with the new moon. Please come 15 minutes early to check in and prepare. Appropriate for adults and children 10 and up. All tours include equipment rental and safety/paddling instructions.

Physical Exertion

Easy: Participants will paddle 0-2 mi. / 0-4 km. on flat water conditions with minimal wind. No previous experience is required. Participant must be able to keep head up while wearing a life jacket in deep water. Paddle times usually run 1-2 hours.

Prerequisites

• Appropriate for adults and children 10 and older when accompanied by a parent. See the Plan Your Visit page for recommendations regarding minors.
• Must be able to independently keep head above water while wearing in a life jacket/PFD.
• No previous experience required.

Cost

The Full Moon or Stargaze paddles are $30per person and includes all instruction and rental equipment, including boat lights and headlamps.
