We offer custom tours and programs for diverse groups. Check out our instructional programs, tours and events. If you find something you think is a fit for your group, we can schedule work with you to provide that program to fit your schedule.
Group Kayak Rentals
Groups of eight or more can receive a discount on kayak rentals during open rental hours. Kayak staff provide the boats but will not join the group to provide leadership of any kind. We currently have 14 single kayaks, six tandem kayaks and five canoes. We can provide rentals for a total of 36 people and an additional 11 young children (one child can sit between two adults in a tandem kayak or canoe). We recommend you call the kayak center at least one hour ahead of time to reserve boats for your group at 978-995-2362.
Whether you want to surprise your partner with a sunset tour, or spook your friends on a moonlight tour, we can provide an experience for you. Our certified instructor will take you out on the water any day of the week. But we can do more than that: schedule a sunrise tour with your co-workers and share a peaceful and awe-inspiring morning together. Custom tours 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. also available on the Nashua and Concord Rivers in addition to the Merrimack. Other locations may be approved by the Program Coordinator in advance.
Note: moonlight tours subject to the lunar calendar.

Take your classroom on the water! Participants can learn about environmental topics such as: water quality, pollution, storm drain runoff, the food web, indicator species, native animals and more. We are able to utilize a curriculum created by the Merrimack River Watershed Council to meet academic standards in the area of science. Outside the classroom, bring your scout troop, soccer team or campers to us for a day on the water integrating any of these topics with time on the water.
