Groups of eight or more can receive a discount on kayak rentals during open rental hours. Kayak staff provide the boats but will not join the group to provide leadership of any kind. We currently have 23 single kayaks, six tandem kayaks, 6 stand-up paddleboards and four canoes. We can provide rentals for a total of 36 people and an additional 12 young children (one child can sit between two adults in a tandem kayak or 2 in a canoe). We recommend you call the kayak center at least one hour ahead of time to reserve boats for your group at 978-995-2362. For group rentals of 10 or more please give as much notice as possible, at least 24 hours. Rentals requests are subject to availability.
We offer custom tours and programs for diverse groups with a variety of outcomes in mind. Whether you want to take your family and friends on a sunset tour, teach your scout troop about water safety and environmental stewardship or provide a team building experience for your office, we have something for everyone! Custom Programs are available for groups of six or more. We will typically use the lesson plan and itinerary from our standard programs (2 Hour Tour, Kayak Basics, Sunset Paddle, Evening Paddle) for these custom programs on the Merrimack River. If you are looking for something completely new we may be able to do that too! Custom programs may be run from late April through late October. Discounts may be available for service or river clean up programs, groups of more than 25 people. Please contact us about your groups needs and we can set up a great program that meets your needs!

For groups of six or more, we also offer custom paddling programs with a teambuilding twist.
