Fitness & Wellness

Building an active and balanced campus community

We offer several group fitness classes year-round. Just show up a few minutes before each class starts, it’s that simple! Instructors are trained to give exercise modifications so that beginners and regular exercises are challenged appropriately. Spin and ignite strength class participants are encouraged to come up to 30 minutes before classes to reserve a spot at the Welcome Desk.

Stop by our two-floor fitness center and ask our friendly staff for information on how to use the fitness equipment correctly. If you are looking for more guided attention on proper exercise prescription and form, Campus Recreation has certified student personal trainers that are available year-round to meet with clients. Sign up at our Welcome Desk/Riverview Fitness Center for one of our personal training packages.

Make sure to check out other fitness and wellness opportunities Campus Recreation has to offer, including our Spring 12-week Commit to be Fit program, special fitness events and various fitness certifications.

Don't see anything that fits your schedule? You can request a custom fitness program for your office, residence hall or group! Simply fill out an online Health-2-U form and someone from the fitness and wellness department will reach out to you.
