What got you interested in fitness and exercise?
My interest began when I started sports in middle school and continued into high school. I loved working out as a team and being able to get stronger together. It was through sports that I was introduced to all types of workouts such as speed and agility, cardio, weight lifting, etc. I haven’t stopped being active since.
Why did you want to become a Personal Trainer at the CRC?
I wanted to become a PT at the CRC because I wanted to meet new people who were eager to either start being fit or continue to be fit and active. I wanted to be able to introduce others to fitness and show them how great it can be for you both mentally and physically.
What is your philosophy on fitness?
My philosophy on fitness is that it is absolutely necessary for everyone to try to stay fit and active. Our bodies and minds are one and in order to have complete balance throughout, exercise is needed. I also believe that there is something for everyone and that even if you feel like you hate working out, there is something out there you can find that you love and be able to stick with it. You just have to be willing to find it.
What are some of your hobbies and other interests?
My favorite thing to do is to hang out with friends and relax. I’m usually very busy so when I do get free time I’m usually sleeping!
