Chris joined our coaching staff from Buffalo, NY where he was the head coach of Canisius College and boatman for the West Side Rowing Club. Prior to his time in Buffalo, Chris was the men's head coach at Marietta College for 7 years. Among his successes were Dad Vail titles in the Varsity 8+ (2006), and Freshman 8+ (2012), as well as an IRA bid for the lightweight 8+ in 2011. In addition, Chris has coached two separate US Rowing Development camps which garnered numerous US Rowing titles as well as a victory in the lightweight 8+ at the 2011 Canadian Henley. Chris began his rowing career at the University at Buffalo, and continued to hone his skills at both Vesper B.C. in Philadelphia, and West Side R.C. Among his victories as a rower are titles at the Dad Vail, US Nationals, and Canadian Henley. Chris now resides in Lowell, MA and is still an avid competitor as both a runner and crossfitter.
