Strategies for Academic Success, developed by the Centers for Learning and Academic Support Services (CLASS), is designed to prepare incoming first year students for college success. The program will enable students to develop academic skills and the motivation needed for effective learning.

The Strategies for Success is a one-day event with students grouped together by similar majors. Please find your major and the date associated with your Strategies for Success session.

A confirmation email will be sent to you with check-in time, location and parking instructions.

All sessions are held on the UMass Lowell North Campus from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Prizes, Raffles, and Rewards

All participants will receive a short electronic survey via email at the end of the day. After completion, names will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card to the UMass Lowell Campus Bookstore.
