IMPORTANT CORONAVIRUS UPDATES

Important Information Regarding Services Available at Centers For Learning, Advising & Student Success

Please note: The Centers for Learning will operate remotely and will continue advising/coaching and tutoring services during the university’s transition to remote, online learning. Effective March 17, 2020, we are not proctoring exams in the Testing Center until further notice.

Tutoring: Centers for Learning tutoring is STILL available, but will be online! As always, please view the searchable Tutoring Schedule webpage.

To join an online tutoring session, you will click “Join This Session” and once you enter your information, you will be good to go. The searchable Tutoring Schedule is live, and may reflect changes daily, so please be sure to check in throughout the semester. Academic Advising: Advising and coaching appointments will continue during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) via either phone or Zoom, as directed by your advisor.

Any changes to Centers services or operations due to COVID-19 will be immediately communicated by the Centers staff. Any changes will be noted as an “UPDATE” on our website and any questions regarding updates should be directed by email to: advisement@uml.edu.

About the Advising Center

Advising services are provided by professional staff advisors who are knowledgeable in all aspects of academic advising and university policies including: planning, course selection, SIS functions, changing majors and course deletion/repetitions. These services are available to students face-to-face, virtually by email at advisement@uml.edu, and through Skype by appointment. Our services are available year-round.
