PROVOST'S ANNUAL PROMOTION & TENURE WORKSHOP

Facilitated by campus leaders, the Provost's Promotion & Tenure Workshops provide best practices to prepare for promotion. A panel of recently promoted colleagues will also provide recommendations to assist candidates.

SUMMER 2016 WORKSHOP:Preparing and Submitting Electronic Promotion & Tenure Materials

Please join Paula Haines, Director of Assessment; Donna Mellen, Manager of Academic Technology and Sandhya Balasubramanian, Assistant to the Provost, for a session designed to introduce you to the process of formatting and presenting your electronic promotion materials. We’ll provide an overview of the preparation process, and you’ll learn how easy it is to organize and pull together your materials using Adobe Acrobat Professional. We will show you how to label and collate your existing files into an easily-readable and readily-adjustable portfolio. This workshop is designed primarily for faculty who are filing applications for promotion and/or tenure in 2016, but it's never too early to start preparing!
