
Sunrise. Bright Radio to Start Your Day!
Sunrise is a lively, informative morning interview program that offers conversations with local, state and national newsmakers. It airs every weekday mornings from 7 to 10 a.m. on 91.5 FM WUML. Learn what's happening, get the story behind the headlines, and get acquainted with the people and places of the Merrimack Valley. News, weather, and sports updates are provided every half hour.
WUML is an FM radio station, whose license is owned by the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees and which is managed by the University of Massachusetts Lowell. WUML, 91.5 FM, broadcasts 1400 watts to a radius of up to 20 miles from its tower, located on the roof of UMass Lowell's Fox Hall.
PEOPLE
Sunrise is produced by Christine Dunlap, who co-hosts the program with longtime Merrimack Valley radio personality, Bob Ellis. Henri Marchand is the producer. Several students at UMass Lowell contribute to the program, running the sound board, writing and recording Public Service Announcements, and helping with this Web site!
Sunrise is happy to broadcast Public Service Announcements on the events and activities of non-profit organizations throughout the Merrimack Valley. Just send the basic information (what, when, where, why, contact numbers/Web site) to Christine_Dunlap@uml.edu and we'll record your message, set it to music and broadcast it in the days before your event.
