About WUML

WUML is a public radio station broadcasting from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Located at 91.5 on the FM dial, the radio station’s license is held by the University of Massachusetts for use by the Lowell campus. 

Broadcasting at 1400 watts from a tower atop Fox Hall on Pawtucket Street in Lowell, the station broadcasts 24 hours per day to the Merrimack Valley, and is available worldwide on the Internet. In keeping with the overall UMass Lowell mission, WUML not only provides entertainment and information, but is a vehicle for education and outreach to the community. 

Through student-produced programming, UMass students gain hands-on experience in radio broadcasting at WUML. Additionally, through community-produced programming, UMass Lowell shares this broadcasting resource with the community.
