The Women in Science and Engineering Program

Welcome to the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program at UMass Lowell. The WISE Program invites 7th and 8th grade girls from area schools to spend a full Career Day at UMass Lowell attending workshops led by practicing women scientists and engineers.

The mission of the WISE program is to show girls of an early age that careers in science and engineering can be fun, exciting and rewarding. In addition, we envision the women scientists and engineers as being role models for their professions.

The 2008 WISE program was held on Friday, May 23.
