Satellite Parking Information

What is Satellite Parking?

Satellite parking is a no-cost option faculty and staff to park at 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. 

Since Satellite Parking is a no-cost option, do I need a decal?

Yes.  Every member of the University is required to have a decal to park in any University lot.  Parking in Satellite Parking lots without a valid UMass Lowell decal will result in ticketing at the owner's expense.

How do I get my Satellite Parking decal?

Faculty/Staff:

Satellite Parking decals can be ordered on our MyParking.uml.edu website.  You will be required to enter your UMass Lowell e-mail address and password, as well as your vehicle registration information.  Decals will be sent directly to your department office.

Commuters and Resident Students:

Commuters and Resident students do not have a Satellite Parking option.

Is transportation available?

Yes. The UMass Lowell Roadsters integrate all Satellite Parking lots in their routes.  Please refer to the Transportation website for more details.

Can I park overnight?

There is no overnight parking in the 1001 Pawtucket Blvd lot, and drivers will be subject to ticketing or towing at their own expense.
