Description
NEW In-School Program! Exploring the Immigrant Experience examines the experiences of many of the ethnic groups that settled in Lowell. Working from oral histories and other primary sources, students look at the immigrant experience from the point of view of the decision to leave, the journey, the initial hardships, preserving cultures, and assimilation. Comparisons are made between the experiences of past and present immigrants.
