Bob Burns has an undergraduate degree in Natural Science from Harvard University Extension School. His graduate studies have been in Public Health and Environmental Management. He is a National Environmental Safety & Health Trainers Association (NESHTA) Board Certified Environmental, Safety and Health Trainer (CET) in Occupational Safety and Health.
Bob Burns is the environmental health and safety training coordinator for the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MassCOSH). Bob also is a NESHTA Board Certified Environmental, Safety and Health Trainer (CET) and since 2001 has been a Teaching Fellow in the Harvard Extension School's Environmental Management Program with an emphasis in the areas of Environmental Ethics, Global Climate Change, and Environmental Justice. Prior to coming to MassCOSH, he was employed in the truck transportation industry dealing with safety issues and has been a life-long Teamster Union member.
