Bio Sketch

Mike Fitts is a  trainer for TNEC and Executive Director for the Connecticut Council on Occupational Safety and Health (ConnectiCOSH). Prior to joining ConnectiCOSH & TNEC, he was a Welder 1st class for 24 years for General Dynamics, Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut. For 10 years of his tenure at General Dynamics he was also the Chairperson of the health and safety committee of the Metal Trades Council. Among his specialties are health and safety inspections, labor and management coordination and injury reduction programs.
