topUMass Lowell is home to the Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) Detachment 345 of the U.S. Air Force. Scholarships available:

UMass Lowell is also home to the Army ROTC. The university is a host school within the Bay State Battalion (headquarters for Army ROTC in Central Massachusetts). Other schools that participate in the Army ROTC program are Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Framingham State College and Fitchburg State College.
