BOY’S BASKETBALL
UMass Lowell Boys’ Basketball Skills Clinics (978-934-2135)
The clinic focuses on every aspect of improving skills, from high octane 5 on 5 games, to free throw competitions, to guest lectures.
GIRL’S BASKETBALL
UMass Lowell Girls’ Basketball Day Camp (978-934-2326)
Campers will learn skills, such as passing, catching, ball handling, rebounding and shooting, which will be reinforced in daily drill station instruction and video analysis.
BASEBALL
Baseball Skills Clinics (978-934-2344)
UMass Lowell offers two separate weeks of River Hawk baseball camp, stressing hard work, individual and team play.
SOFTBALL (978-934-3977)
Softball clinics concentrate on the fundamentals of the game, team play and constant improvement while placing strong emphasis on good sportsmanship and a positive approach to the game.
ICE HOCKEY
River Hawk Hockey School (978-934-4954)
“On Ice” sessions are devoted to improving the camper’s skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, checking and team play skills. “Off Ice” time will introduce campers to basic conditioning exercises and will include video analysis of skating sessions.
FIELD HOCKEY
River Hawk Field Hockey Clinics (978-934-3976)
Improve individual stick skill, passing techniques, shooting and defensive tactics.
SOCCER
River Hawk Soccer Camp for Boys & Girls (978-934-2346)
An experienced staff, including professional soccer players, collegiate coaches and members of the UMass Lowell soccer team, will provide instruction on all aspects of the game.
VOLLEYBALL
Kross Kourt Volleyball Clinic and Wednesday Night Clinic (978-934-2319)
Daily instruction includes skill development through progressive combination drills, as well as tactics and strategy in team offensive and defensive systems.
SUMMER BAND CAMP
This is a musically intense program for students interested in classes such as conducting, midi, the history of rock and roll, score analysis, and music theory. The camp includes ensembles such as concert band and flute and clarinet choirs.

DESIGNCAMP
UMass Lowell's DESIGNCAMP is a summer science and engineering enrichment program that offers a wide range of project-based workshops for students in grades 5 - 11.
If you like to invent, do experiments, build things, and figure out how things work, then this is the place for you!

National Parks Adventures Camp

Boys and Girls ages 10-14 (Entering Grades 5-9)
Visit four National Parks in Massachusetts to explore the real things and places that are part of America’s story. Meet a Revolutionary War soldier at Minute Man National Historical Park, ferry to Boston Harbor Islands, explore “Old Ironsides” in Charlestown Navy Yard at Boston National Historical Park, and navigate Lowell’s canal system, weave, and "work the line" at Lowell National Historical Park. Experience your America!
Boott Camp

Boys and Girls ages 8-12 (Entering Grades 3-7)
Come to build and test your own canal system, weave cloth on a four-harness loom, explore the historic Boott Mills and the boardinghouse, visit an operating factory weave room, ride a trolley, take a boat trip on the Merrimack River, do crafts, and play games. Explore the roots of the American Industrial Revolution! All that we consider modern was shaped by this period!

For the older camper who wants more of a challenge. Can you drop an egg from fifteen feet without breaking it? See how far you can make a rocket fly. Explore the plants and animals along the Merrimack River. Go on fun field trips. Weave cloth on our four harness looms. Become an inventor using household "junk." This camp will take you a step beyond the ordinary!
Wonders of Water Camp

Boys and Girls ages 8-12 (Entering Grades 3-7)
Water is very important to the city of Lowell. Join us to explore the awesome properties of our most valuable resource. Ride on water on a National Park Service boat, learn about water with wacky experiments, build a working canal system, and explore the creatures that call water home. Through water, campers discover the amazing connections between science and history in the place where industry began.
RECKIDS SUMMER CAMP
RecKids is a recreational day camp for children between 6 and 11 years old. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment where learning and fun can go hand in hand. RecKids is about youth development and helping our children realize the potential in themselves, while at the same time building leadership skills, respect, teamwork, communication skills and social connections. Fees
For active Campus Recreation Center (CRC) members, staff and faculty the cost is $200 for the first child and $150 per additional child. The cost for non-members of the CRC is $250 for the first child and $200 per additional child.
*Fee for four-day week $160/$120 for members; $200/$160 for non-members
